on the water with us

 

Do I need to book in advance?

To avoid disappointment please book in advance. We can get very busy throughout the summer, so reserve your session soon!

Who can do it? We truly believe everyone can. We recommend starting your young ones at about 5 years old - our inflatable ‘Ski Trainer’ is perfect for building confidence before giving skis a go and is ideal for those aged 5-7 years.

Can I make a group booking, or can my family come and watch? We can take up to 5 people on our Ribs and up to 8 people on the Axis T220. This can be all skiers or a mix of skiers and spectators. A small well-behaved dog is welcome too on the Ribs, but unfortunately we cannot allow dogs on the Axis.

Are there changing facilities and toilets? There are no changing facilities or toilets within the Ski School. Clients can change on the Pontoon outside the School, so please bring towels/Dry Robes to enable this. Please note, we cannot hold any personal belongings in the office for you during your session so please bear this in mind when deciding what to bring with you. The nearest public toilets are in the Rock Quarry Car Park at the end of Rock Road.

Do you have lockers? We do have a number of small lockers available to hire for £1.00. Ideal for storing a small bag and personal belongings in when you are on the water.

What about equipment? We have absolutely everything you will need to enjoy your time on the water with us including a huge range of thick C-Skins wetsuits, waterskis and buoyancy aids - all included in the price of your session. Just bring yourself and some swimmers. However, it is best to wear your own wetsuit if you have one.

What about parking? There is parking at the Rock Quarry Car Park at the end of Rock Road, about 320 metres beyond Camel Ski School. It is open 24 hours and parking fees apply. Payment by card or RingGo - Location Code: 15661. Please allow plenty of time to park before your session, especially in the busy holiday seasons.

What happens if I need to cancel, or the weather is bad? If you need to cancel or change your booking you can do so via our online booking system. All cancellations or changes must be made 24 hours prior to the booking. Unfortunately, any no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours cannot be refunded.
